    Set up your email to receive our messages

    Once your order is confirmed, an email with your eSIM details is sent automatically to your registered email address. Please set up your email so that you can receive messages from the address below.

    Important notes

    Can be installed on one device only

    This product cannot be used on multiple devices. Only the device it was installed on can use it.

    If you delete your eSIM by mistake

    If you delete this product from your device by mistake, you can reinstall it on the same device only.

    Downloading your eSIM

    A Wi-Fi connection is required to download and set up your eSIM. Please complete the setup and start using it while connected to Wi-Fi.

    Quantity per order

    Because we send the activation code by email, only one eSIM can be purchased per order.

    If you plan to purchase 10 or more at once, please get in touch via our contact form.

    System maintenance

    During our periodic system maintenance, we may be unable to send eSIM details. Please be aware of this. Maintenance will be announced on our site as it is scheduled.

    Activation deadline

    Please activate and start using your eSIM within one month of purchase.

    Note that this product becomes active once it picks up a signal within Japan.

    About the signal indicator

    On some devices the signal indicator may not appear. This is by design and is not a fault.
    *If the signal indicator does not appear, confirm activation by browsing a website or similar. If you cannot connect after entering the APN settings, please restart your device.

    About the carrier

    This product is a full MVNO service issued by Marubeni Network Solutions Inc. The carrier name shown on your device will be "M".

    FAQ

    I haven't received my eSIM details

    If you have not received the email with your eSIM details 30 minutes after completing your order, please check the following.

    • Set up your email so that you can receive messages from the address below.
      send@esim-japan.com
    • If the email does not arrive
      - Check your spam folder.
      - Check the storage capacity of your mailbox.
      - Check folders other than your inbox.
    • If you cannot find the email in the folders above, please contact us through this contact form, including your order number.
    Can I make voice calls or send SMS?

    Our eSIMs are data-only eSIM plans. They therefore do not support voice calls or sending and receiving SMS.

    That said, you can make voice calls by using calling apps such as Skype or LINE.
    Can I use tethering?

    Yes, you can. To use it, enable the tethering feature in your device settings.

    Please note that some carriers and device manufacturers impose restrictions, so we cannot guarantee operation on every device.
